My Re-gifted Christmas Cards....

Spent the last few days re, re, re-designing my blog, website and finally, finally got my etsy.com shop up and running where you'll now find quite a few of my creations for sale. Just click on the big orange button to the right.

Now that's done I'm really looking forward to MAKING TIME to create....

I was really pleased with the way these little gift cards turned out which I made from pre-loved Christmas cards. I literally nipped, tucked and stitched using scrap fabric I had. I think they look fabulous and are ready to give love all over again. How cool is that !

I also made cute little pouches to go with the cards and have listed them on etsy.com in sets of 2.

Feels soooo good to be able to finish something, photograph it, list it in my shop and blog about it.

Hmmm, what next?

Just got an email from quilthome.com with some huge fabric savings so might head over there and grab some bargains.  I'll keep you posted on that....

Blog house keeping....

Just a note to say in the interests of keeping all things blog related neat and tidy (I'm a bit of a neat and tidy freak) I'll be throwing in a few of my fave posts from my previous blog life every now and then so apologies (and big hugs) if you've followed me over here and catch a re-run. Just don't want any new friends to miss out and it will allow me to wind up some old loose ends and keep my blog love flowing.

Finally crocheted enough squares to....

 

finish a rug I've been stitching for a few months.

 Bought this bookshelf from the op shop for $40 and
filled it with all of my lovely treasures.

Made a few cushions from the lovely fabrics I got from here.
 I'm hoping to make more to sell on my website but I'll keep you posted on that.

Started another painting which I hope to finish this arvo.


Seems my life will only afford me the time to post weekly for now so I'll have to be grateful for that and be back next weekend. Have a great week.

A New Beginning.... / Take 2

Ok, so sometimes, regardless of all good intentions, less really is less (see my last post).
So lets try that new beginning one more time....

Actually to be honest I've been soooo into creating it's hard to find time for anything else but these absolutely gorgeous free printable cards have inspired me to start sharing again....
